Sharon Vant Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and a great sense of loss to announce Sharon Vant passed away on the 5th of May 2024.
Sharon was born in Edmonton on February 6, 1942. She began raising a family after marrying her husband of 63 years, Tom Vant. Sharon and family lived on their Quarter Horse farm near Millet from 1972 until present day.
Sharon was a beautiful and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her love, generosity, kindness of spirit, strength of character and razor-sharp wit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sharon passed away peacefully, surrounded by almost all of her family, after a brief and courageous battle against an acute illness. Sharon is survived by her husband Tom; children Ted (Patti), Lisa (Clif), Tim (Deb), and Libby; grandchildren Calie, Taylor, Connor, Stuart, Ben, Ava, Clark, Ridley and Jana; and great-grandchildren Lilllian and Silus.
Sharon’s life, and love of it, will be honoured at a private family service. If giving, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Sharon’s charity of choice, The Salvation Army.
