He is survived by his children, Kiesten, Simon Jr. & Sarah Shirt & Kashiree Bull; special friend, Jaylene Cardinal; mother of his children, Tannis Cardinal; Tia Rain; his mother, Olga (Rodney) John; father, Jarrod (Donna) Houle; adopted mom, Sonya Large; siblings, Paden (Nicole), Claude, Kim (Allison) John, Kyle John, Kelly John, Kolby (Arthur) John, Keasher (Jordan) John, Dayle John & Candice John; God-sister, Randi Lightning; grandparents, Francis & Jenny Houle; numerous nieces & nephews. Simon was predeceased by grandparents, Raymond & Mabel; siblings, Carly & Landy; nephew, Tayden Cardinal; Godson, Ralph Large; aunt, Ursula; uncles, Randy Shirt & Ashley Houle; cousins, Edwin, Tyrone Sandfly, Gary Wolfe, Mariah Grandjambe, Zander & Thomas Jackson, Rene Houle. A Wake will be held on Saturday, September 30 (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:30 p.m.) at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre with interment in Reed Lake Cemetery, Goodfish Lake.
