On October 28, 2023, Miss Peggy Bernice McGillis of Fishing Lake passed away at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her children, Sherry (Russell), Ronald Jr., Dinah, Jennifer (Travis), Penny & her adopted son, T.J.; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law, Winnifred Laboucane, Doreen Anderson & Melinda Young; brothers & sisters, Darren Calliou, Lorraine Calliou, Arlene Calliou, Darlene Calliou, Jean Anderson, Glenda Calliou, Elaine Ward & Glen Christiansen; Godchildren, Kevin Shaun & Leonard McGillis; family friend & father of her grandchildren, Ryck Chalifoux. Miss McGillis was predeceased by her children, Shelly, Laurie & Trevor Crevier; sons-in-law, Joseph W. H. Boucher & Brian Anderson; father of her children, Ronald Crevier Sr.; grandchildren, Paige, Cheryl & Matthew; parents, Tom & Gladys Calliou; Godparents, Roy Fayant & Deloris Fayant Lehr. A Wake will be held on Thursday, (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Friday, November 2 & 3 at Fishing Lake Communiplex, Fishing Lake. Last Respects will be held on Saturday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Fishing Lake Communiplex followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. at St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church, Fishing Lake.
