On January 8, 2024, Mr. Merle Hedrick of Ashmont passed away at the age of 62 years. He is survived by 4 daughters, Andrea (Jordan) Gehring, Tanya, Ashley (Brae) MacInnis & Lisa (Stephen) Cunningham; special nephew, Dale (Michelle); 11 grandchildren, Alissa, Jacob, Olivia, Emily, Wyatt, Ty, Lucas, Tristan, Decklan, Layne & Gage; siblings, Wayne Archibald, John (Marni) Teeter, Gordon (Dela), Karen (Bob) Ralstin & Pauline; common-law spouse, Rose Marie Vallee; step-children, Nicholas (Nicole) Vallee, Darren (Oksana) Vallee, Daryl (Amanda) Vallee & Daniel Oszust (Marlayna Desjarlais); 7 step-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. Merle was predeceased by his parents, Doug & Alice; sister, Judy; brothers, Rick & Larry Archibald; nephews, Jeffery Mills & Joshua Hedrick. A Funeral Service & Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Boscombe Hall, Boscombe. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Willow Grove Cemetery, Owlseye.
