On November 9, 2023 Mrs. Lavina Delver of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her 3 sons, Stuart (Elaine), Edwin (Violet) & Earl; 2 daughters, Samantha & Lisa; 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Charlie Jackson; sisters, Betsy Jackson, Lydia Delver (Prosper) & Violet Jackson; special adopted son, David (Shirley) Thompson; close friends, Linda McGilvery, Sheldon & Sherry-Lynn McGilvery, Mary Ann Quinn, Edna Jackson, Arlene Forrest, Carrie Wolfe Shirt, Jannine & Leo Patrick, Theresa Jackson, Christine Whitstone, Erma Whitstone & all of her Bingo friends. Lavina was predeceased by her husband, Johnny; parents, Simon & Sarah Jackson; in-laws, Morris & Veronica Delver; sisters, Elsie Breast, Elizabeth Berard, Mabel Shirt Sr; brother, Robert Jackson Sr. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, November 14 & 15 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre with interment in Reed Lake Cemetery, Goodfish Lake.
