On January 2, 2024, Mr. Dennis “Sonny” Hagen of Goodridge passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elsie; daughter, Melody (Ben) Kwiatkowski; son, Mitchel (Lorena) Hagen; 7 grandchildren, Darcy (Dana) White, Kyle (Angelina) Kwiatkowski, Josie Kwiatkowski (Jake), Kaydence Hagen (Tanner), Jorja Hagen, Dalton Hagen & Holly Hagen; 1 great-grandson, Rye White; siblings, Eileen Smigielski, Edith (George) Lukinuk, Lawrence (Bev) Hagen, Barry Hagen, Keith Hagen, Kenny Hagen, Genie (Doug) Gardner, Liz (Claude) Mathiot; sisters-in-law, Louise Onciul & Judy (Brian) Karpyshyn; numerous nieces & nephews. Sonny was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence & Bertha Hagen; brother, Donny (Linda) Hagen; brothers-in-law, Bud Smigielski & Harvey Onciul; in-laws, Johnny & Esther Hogetveit. A Celebration of Sonny’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Goodridge Jubilee Hall, Goodridge. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with interment in Fork Lake Cemetery, Rich Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haying in the 30s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 51 Street, St. Paul AB T0A 3A1.
