It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, sister, mother & grandmother, Anne Szutiak. Anne is survived by her loving husband, Harry; her children, Greg (Lisa) of Calgary and Andrea (Tamas) of Edmonton; grandchildren, Zac and Ashley; and sister, Olga Kizlyk Scarpari of Edmonton. She was predeceased by her parents, Anton & Mary Kizlyk.
Anne was a gracious, loving mother and grandmother and she also loved the children she worked with in her 35 years with the Edmonton Catholic School Board.
The family would like to thank the staff of St Michael’s Long Term Care Centre for their compassionate care for the last 7+ years as well as a thank you to Bonnie Leblanc for her friendship and unwavering support. We also thank Rev. Planchak for caring for mom’s spiritual well-being over the last few years.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 6425 – 120 Ave., Edmonton. Very Rev.
