Patrick ‘Pat’ D. Connelly passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the age of 73, suddenly and peacefully in his sleep.
Pat was born March 5, 1951 to Lorraine and LeRoy in Edmonton, Alberta and was the third of five children.
After moving from one coast to another, Pat found himself back in Alberta in 1978 where he met the love of his life, Anna. They shared 44 years of marriage together.
His adventure was just beginning, and included starting an international company, Am-Con Industrial Insulation, raising two incredible children, and being a father figure and mentor to many. Sylvan Lake was his home base for many travels around the world.
Pat’s goal in life was to always leave a place in better shape than he’d found it. More often than not, he could do that with just his smile, laughter, and positive outlook on life.
He will be most missed by his loving wife Anna, children; Christopher (Nicole), and Sarah, as well as his favourite little people: Ella, Cooper, Mila, Téo, and Bodhi.
Anna and family invite you to join us on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at SLGCC 19th Hole RV Campground, Sylvan Lake, Alberta to celebrate Pat’s life.
All are welcome. Dress code is casual lake attire.
