SIMPSON, Kathleen
1970 – 2024
Ms. Kathleen “Kash” Anne Simpson passed away peacefully at her home, in Red Deer, Alberta, on Friday January 19, 2024 at the age of 53 years. Kash was born on June 10, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, and lived in Rosedale, Alberta for most of her younger years, before relocating to Hanna, Alberta and then to Nacmine, Alberta. She lived throughout Central Alberta before finally deciding to settle in Red Deer, Alberta to be closer to her kids and grandkids. Kash will be lovingly remembered by her children, Natasha and Jamie (Kelsey), and her two wonderful grandsons, Tyson and Noah. She will also be sadly missed by her parents, Linda and Bill Simpson, her older brother, Billy Simpson, her sister, Tina Simpson (Robbie), and her grandma, Vera Simpson.
Kash was predeceased by her grandparents, Reuben and Margaret Weitz, and George Simpson.
A Celebration of Kash’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations in Kash’s honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada at www.heartandstroke.ca. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
