Mr. Frederick ‘Red’ James Arnold passed away at Extendicare Michener Hill, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the age of 84 years. Red was born in Bath, England on July 21, 1939. Throughout his life, Red was an avid reader and speaker. He had a passion for soccer growing up and played it for many years in the United Kingdom. Red was well traveled due to his time in the Royal Air Force where he earned the title of Captain. During his time in the Royal Air Force, Red was stationed in several countries in Europe. He also owned a pub called King’s Head in Shrewsbury, England. In 1975, Red made the journey to Canada. He owned a Radio Shack in Osoyoos, British Columbia. Red was a Car Salesman in Penticton, British Columbia for many years and was a Car Salesman for Kipp Scott in Red Deer for twenty years. Red was a loving husband to June Roth-Arnold, a kind grandfather to his granddaughter, Brittany Fry and a friend to his three stepdaughters. Red will be lovingly remembered by his wife, June Roth-Arnold of Red Deer, his stepdaughters, Alison Richardson of Red Deer, Laurie Fry of Red Deer, and Sheryl Jardine of Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, and his granddaughter, Brittany Fry. A Celebration of Red’s Life will be held at Extendicare Michener Hill, 12 Michener Boulevard, Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., in the main floor family dining room with family and friends.
