Mr. David ‘Dave’ George Charles Clark passed away peacefully, at Bethany CollegeSide, Red Deer, Alberta, on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the age of 87 years. Dave was born on June 16, 1936, at Strome, Alberta to George and Kathleen Clark. He married Shirley Reeve on August 11, 1954. Dave enjoyed forty-two years as a meat cutter at Safeway. He loved his golf and watching all his children and grandchildren’s sporting activities. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his children, Don (Diane), Sherry (Smokey) and Vickie (Norm); his seven grandchildren and his fifteen great grandchildren; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. Dave was predeceased by his wife, Shirley, his parents and his siblings. Dave’s family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Bethany CollegeSide B-2 Staff for all of the comfort and care provided over the last few years, while Dave was in their care. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at the Red Deer Elks Hall, B.P.O.E. No. 85, 6315 Horn Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Dave’s honor may be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada at www.alzheimer.ca.
