David’s Obituary
David John Ralph Testawich, also known as ‘Red’, long-time resident of Peace River, passed away May 16, 2024 at the age of 43 years.
He was born in Peace River on August 28, 1980, primarily raised in Peace River and Woodland Cree First Nation.
He was very interested in Tattooing, painting, drawing and mechanics. He was a wild land fire fighter and a very popular tattoo artist in and around Peace River, Grande Prairie and Edmonton.
David is survived by Mother Marilyn Testawich; Father Robert Killkenny; Brothers Robert Killkenny Jr., Justin Christian, Owen Christian, and Brendan Christian; Sisters Ernestine Christian, Candice Thomas, Amanda Roe, Tracey Hamelin, Carmen Laboucane; and children Summer Payou, Dathen Testawich, Emmit Testawich and Shalayna Ominayak.
A wake will be held Thursday, May 30th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Memories, Peace River.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 31st, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, Peace River; with cremation to follow.
