Daniel’s Obituary
Dan Ropchan passed away on February 15, 2024 at Stone Brook Care Facility, in Grimshaw (AB). He was born November 7, 1935 in Berwyn (AB) to John and Annie (Mutual) Ropchan.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his wife Huguette, his daughter Carmen, his grandson Aidan, his brother John and his sister-in-law Mabel.
He was predeceased by his father John Ropchan, his mother Annie Mutual, his siblings and their spouses Mike, Georges & Nancy, Bill & Philis Petluck, Lily, Victoria & Bill Portsmouth, Helen & John Hudema, Stephen, Helen (baby) and many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
Dan was famous for his mathematical and engineering talents, as well as his love of farming and animals.
A Celebration of Dan’s Life will take place on June 29, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grimshaw, followed by a meal at the Drop-In Centre in Grimshaw.
