December 18, 1927 – July 26, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Gillett at the age of 96. She passed away peacefully at the Father Lacombe Care Centre in Calgary, Alberta on July 26, 2024. Loving Mother to Cindy (Alf) Molloy, and predeceased by her Son Scott (Pat) Planche. Survived by her grandchildren Kelly (Ryan) Schukart, Ryan (Melanie) Middleton-Hope, Brent (Yemi) Planche, Christopher (Talana) Middleton-Hope and many Great-Grandchildren.
Predeceased by her loving Husband David Gillett (2020) and predeceased by her first Husband Ross Planche (1974)
She was also blessed with Two Sisters, Doris Morehouse (deceased) and Pauline Planche (deceased) and her Brother Herbert Jeffreys (deceased)
Also left to grieve are her Step-Children Keith, Brian (Suzanne), Terry, Hal (Karen), and Paul (Jan), as well as Grandchildren Alex, Divina, Patrick, Alexander, Ryan, Derek, Matthew and Justin and a Great-Grand-Daughter.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Heartland in Okotoks, Alberta and Father Lacombe Care Centre for the compassion and gentle care in Norma’s final days.
