Obituary of Serayne Kematch
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Serayne Kematch. He passed away near Onion Lake, SK on April 11, 2024
Serayne made a huge impact on everyone who knew him, he was very supportive towards everyone especially his little sister Taryn “his baby”. Serayne had a kind, gentle soul, he was happy everywhere he went, he always had smile on his face, he was everyone’s friend/brother. It was in his nature to help you in any way possible, he would have given you the shirt off his back. To serayne, his friends/bro’s and sista’s were everything he loved hanging out with them. He was proud. He was a proud brother to his siblings, he loved his nephews, nieces and was especially proud to be a “Mosom”. He always pointed out his white hairs to his sisters because he was a Mosom. Serayne had SO MUCH LOVE for his family.
Always fooling around, always telling jokes, always making everyone smile and laugh. His Smile was so affectionate to everyone that knew him.
Serayne is survived by: his loving father, who raised him, Marvin Meesto; his Mosom and Kokum, Leonard and Elaine Fox; Biological father, Gerald Kematch; brothers, Desi (Diandra) Meesto, Bryson Chief, Mervin Meesto, Dreyton Meesto and Avery Muskego; sisters, L’Raine Kematch, Brandynne McKay, Taryn Knightwalker, Shannon Meesto, Janine Muskego, Diana Muskego and Tru Chief; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins and chichims.
Serayne was predeceased by: his mother, Bridgette Meesto; his twin brother, Skyler Kematch; mosom, Bill Peechow; kokum, Helen Belly; uncles, Lawrence Meesto, Larry Meesto, Harvey Meesto and Brian Meesto; aunts, Doreen Meesto and Denise Meesto; his special Mother who raised him, Cindy Chief; sister, Tracy Muskego; brother, Keenan Meesto; cousin, Kyle Whitstone; and brother in law, Steve Oswell.
