John Walter Dick passed away on Wednesday
September 4th after a battle with cancer surrounded by family.
John was born on May 30,1937 in Lanigan Saskatchewan to John & Helena Dick he was the 5th child in a family of 6.
John coached hockey & baseball in the Drake & Lanigan area in his younger years.
His main career and passion was a Ford Mechanic.
John married Helen(Dyck) of Swift Current Saskatchewan on May 7,1966 and was blessed with two children Marcy & Nancy.
They also welcomed 4 grandchildren whom he cherished with all his heart.
John is survived by his wife Helen of 58 years. Marcy & Chris Conrod their children Hanna & Aden. Nancy Salatino and her children Emilio & Giuliana, their father Giovani Salatino.
He is also survived by his sister Margret Youck, brother Henry Dick and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his by his parents John & Helena Dick siblings Abe Dick, Mary Friesen, & Martha Friesen.
His honorary ballbearers are Emilio Salatino, Hanna Conrod, Aden Conrod and Giuliana Salatino.
