Obituary For Maureen Ethel Steinbru
Maureen Ethel Steinbru, resident of Wembley, AB, formerly of Davidson, SK, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 76 years.
Maureen was born in Davidson, SK, on June 14, 1948. She was best known for her feisty “taking no crap” attitude. She had the biggest heart of gold and loved her family immensely. She enjoyed sewing, baking, hunting, Bingo, and attending auction sales with her father.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51years Victor; sons Lyle (Lisa), and Ken; brothers Lorrie (Janine) and Kevin (Pam); grandchildren Greg, Vanessa (Reid), and Valerie; great-grandchildren Zeke and Zena; as well as countless nieces and nephews.
Maureen was predeceased by her mother Fern Webber, father Kenneth Webber, and sisters Marcia Wetheril and Cheryl Haraldson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
