Obituary For Marie Therese Germaine Hebert
August 8, 1943 – May 19, 2024
Our beloved momma, grandma, and great grandma Marie Therese Germaine Hebert passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024, at the age of 80.
Mom was born August 8, 1943, in St. Paul, AB, to parents Frank and Annette Robinson. She married the love of her life, Noel Hebert on October 8, 1960. They raised four children- Giselle, Pauline, Roxanne, and Brian.
Mom worked at a drycleaning company in Edmonton in her younger years until we moved to Prince George. This is where she had our brother Brian. She stayed home to raise Brian until we moved to Grande Cache where she then started her insulation company. It was hard work, but she was a very strong woman. We moved to Grande Prairie in 1978 where she continued her insulation work until she retired in 2004. Dad continued to work casually until he had a stroke in 2016. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She never left our dad’s side until his passing in 2018.
Whether it was the twinkle in her eye, her infectious smile or great sense of humor, Mom made a lasting impression on whomever she met. She was definitely a charmer.
Mom is survived by her children Giselle (Mark), Pauline, Roxanne (Shawna), and Brian (Carrie). She will be remembered by her amazing grandchildren Kenneth (Shawna), Nicole (Luc), Ashley, Meagan, Scott, Dalen, Bella, Ozzy, Hayden, Jenna (Anthony), and Riley (Levi), and her even more amazing great-grandchildren Hannah, Gavin, Connor, Noah, and Oliver. Mom doted on and will be remembered by her beloved cat Baby, and she will also be remembered by her sisters Irene and Jean, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mom is pre-deceased by her parents Annette and Frank, husband Noel, son in law Mark Dinelle, brothers Eugene and Leo, sisters Albina, Alma, Helen, and Henriette.
Mom was a blessing and a jewel, and we will miss her immensely.
A private family interment will take place, but a Celebration of Life will be held on June 22, 2024, at 4:00 pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home’s Prairie Hall.
