Obituary For Janet Joanne Reiger
Janet Joanne Reiger resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Prairie Lake Seniors Community at the age of 69 years.
Janet was born in Regina, SK, on September 8, 1955, to Albert and Isabel Noble. Janet was the third born in a family of six children. Blonde hair and blue-eyed, Janet was a lovely flower that blossomed and grew in the midst of challenging life circumstances. Often employed in reception and administration, Janet was hard-working and dedicated to doing her job well.
Janet married Richard Reiger on November 27, 1976. Together they had two girls, Erin and Andrea.
Her love of cats started with Clem and continued throughout her life as she adopted and loved many stray cats and dogs, most importantly Scooby. Janet was a strong believer in the Lord, and her relationship with Him helped her overcome many hardships in life.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters Erin Reiger, and Andrea (Jeff Goulden); three grandchildren: Isabella (14), Victorya (12), and Isaac (10); brother Gord (Debbie) Noble, and their children Wendy Noble, Melanie (Ryan) Hopkinson; sister Brenda Walsh, and her children Corey (Amy) Walsh, and Cathy (Shawn) Hull; sister Valerie (Allan) Mock and their children Lisa (Kevin) Vangisbergen, and Laura Mock; brother Kevin (Kelly) Noble and their children Jamie Noble and Scott (Marie) Noble; sister Shaylene (Marv) Mountstephen and their children Taylor, Brett, and Brandon Mountstephen.
