Obituary For Charles (Chuck) John Potts
November 27, 1942 – August 9, 2024
It is with heavy hearts we mournfully announce the passing of Charles John Potts at the age of 81 years. Charles passed on August 8, 2024, at his home in Elmworth, Alberta with his son Terry and daughter-in-law, Daylene Potts by his side.
Sadly, Charles battled a terminal lung disease for twelve years.
Charles John Potts was born on November 27,1942 to the proud parents, Harry and Helen Potts and joined his older brother Bruce Potts.
Charles was predeceased by his parents, his loving wife, Dorothy, and his brother Bruce.
He leaves behind his children; Stephen and Mary Soenen, Tracy and Russ Young, Cheryl Potts (Grant Morrison), Kevin Potts, and Terry and Daylene Potts. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of friends and family at the Potts farm in Elmworth at a later date.
Dad your struggle is over, you are now at peace. You will be forever on our minds and in our hearts. A father’s love is never forgotten and thank you for teaching me what a father’s love is.
