Obituary For Brian Robert Allison
January 5, 1961 – August 2, 2024
Brian Robert Allison, husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, passed away in Grande Prairie on August 2, 2024.
Brian was born in Elkhorn, Manitoba, and raised on the farm. He moved to Alberta in 1979 to pursue oilfield work. He married and settled in Grande Prairie for the last 36 years. He was a hardworking man of integrity, an incredible mentor and was generous with his knowledge and time.
Brian was predeceased by his father, Robert Allison.
He is survived by his wife, Carla, daughter Christi (Shawn), son Maurie (April), and his six grandchildren: Conner, Caidyn, Carter, Camryn, James and Hazel. He is also survived by his mother Margaret, and sister Shelly (Art).
Brian felt his greatest riches were his children and grandchildren.
Please join us in a Celebration of Life for an unforgettable man. We know he would not want us to dwell on the sad, but to remember the good. It is with this in mind that we plan to hold a special event on August 20, 2024, from 2-6pm at our home. Bring your special stories and memories to be shared at 3 pm. Let us say goodbye by celebrating the afternoon together.
