Obituary For Brian Daniel Buchaski
November 24, 1989 – December 4, 2023
In loving memory of Brian Buchaski who was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on November 24, 1989, and passed away on December 4, 2023. Brian moved to Grande Prairie in August, 1999, where he finished his schooling, graduating in 2008. He apprenticed as a sheet metal worker beginning in 2011, after giving the oilfield a try.
Brian felt at peace with nature and would go fishing, hiking, or camping with friends and family. This became an annual ritual with his school buddies, with Brian leading the way.
He was a man who no matter how high or low he was, if someone needed a hand his was always there. He was known for his kind heart and ability for forgiveness. Brian always tried to find the positive, no matter what was happening. He loved tinkering with electronics, his truck and anything a friend needed help with, or a good video game.
Brian is survived by his parents, Dan and Val Buchaski, siblings; sister Nichol Buchaski (Justin) and their daughter Breya Watson, sister Dana Buchaski and her son Xavier Cain. He is also survived by his grandmother Rose Buchaski, and various aunts, uncles, and cousins spread across Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Albert and Louise Bazowsky, and Thomas Buchaski.
A Memorial service for Brian will be held at Bear Creek Funeral Home, 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Brian’s memory to The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre (10507 98 Ave Grande Prairie, Alberta T8V 4L1) or the Canadian Cancer Society at cancer.ca.
