Obituary For Al Norman
March 31, 1945 – January 23, 2024
God called him home!
It is with broken hearts and tears of sorrow that we said goodbye to Larry (Al) Norman on January 23, 2024 at the age of 78 years.
Al was a husband to Lois, a father to daughter, Carrie, (who left us only a year ago) (Mitch) and son Darren (Janet), Gramps to Joshua (1990-2014,) Tristen (Alanna), Hannah (Jermaine), Carter, Nicholas (Kayha) and Michael and a Great Gramps to Duke and Resh. He was a brother to Leona (deceased) and Marlene.
He loved his kids, grands and great grands, often bragging about them.
Al loved to spend time with family and friends. He was an avid golfer, curler, skier, hunter and wood worker. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour and quick wit. Al worked in the oil industry for 45 years with the same company.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on February 10th at 3pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie.
Should you so choose, donations may be made to the Alberta Parkinson’s Society 120 6835 Railway Street SE, Calgary AB T2H 2V6
