“Mike” Micheal Sidor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Micheal (Mike) John Emery Sidor. Mike passed away at the age of 41 on January 27, 2024, in Valhalla, Alberta.
Mike was born in Vegreville, Alberta, on May 21, 1982. His parents were Carmyn Grant (nee Sharman), Thomas Grant and John Sidor. Mike was married September 30th, 2006, in Edson, Alberta, to Carissa Storozhenko. Mike attended Parkland Composite High in Edson and went on to be a Pipeline Consultant. Mike and Carissa then welcomed 3 beautiful children: Brody Anne Sidor in 2005, Cash Verdell Sidor in 2007 and Jesse Maxine Melissa Sidor in 2009. Mike was known for his hard loving of family, friends, animals and definitely food. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by anyone who had the luck of crossing paths with him.
Mike is survived by his children Brody, Cash and Jesse. His dad Tom Grant, his siblings Jessica Weber (Cole), Melissa Paulson (Mike), Tannis Grant (Derek) and Jay Grant, as well as 9 nieces and nephews and many aunts and uncles.
Mike was predeceased by his mom Carmyn Grant, John Sidor, his grandparents Verna and Verdell Sharman and George and Lillian Sidor and Uncle Wayne Sharman.
A Funeral Service for Micheal will be held at the MacKay Hall on Saturday, February 3rd, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the afternoon with Interment at the Leaman Cemetery to follow.
