October of 1957 – December 31, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Heather announce her sudden passing on December 31, 2023, at the age of 66. Heather lived a life characterized by love, laughter, and a profound appreciation and connection with the natural world.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Melody (Tony); grandsons, Jabari, Jayden, & Joshua, who were the lights of her life; sister, Kim (Ken); mother-in-law, Viola; as well as numerous nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. Heather will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her many close friends, extended family members, and her fur babies, Clyde & Gwen.
Heather’s spirit is reunited with her late beloved husband, Alan Silvester. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Margaret & Douglas; sister, Karan; and father-in-law, Ken.
Heather’s love for nature and animals was a testament to her caring soul. A true animal lover at heart, Heather’s gentle and nurturing spirit extended to every creature she encountered.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and animals. Her beautiful smile and energy would light up any room. She brought so much joy and laughter to those around her with her quick wit and funny anecdotes, making every encounter with her a memorable one.
A Celebration of Heather’s Life will take place in the summer. Date to be determined; invitations to follow.
