Mrs. Cooey Mah passed away quietly and peacefully on December 9, 2024, at the U of A Hospital, at the age of 87.
She was born in Guangzhou, China, in 1937. She emigrated to Canada where she met and married her husband, Jim Mah. Mrs. Mah was employed as a seamstress in Edmonton for 36 years at GWG and Levi Strauss. Mrs. Mah was predeceased by her husband, Jim, and her beloved daughter, Kelly Mah. Cooey Mah is survived by her granddaughter, Audrey Stroppel; her son, Wayne Mah; and her son-in-law, Rick Stroppel. Cooey Mah was a kind and gentle soul, and she will be greatly missed by her small circle of friends and family members.
A Visitation and open mic will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 1R5.
