Obituary for
Bradley John Pahl
Following a short illness, Bradley John Pahl, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at the Redwater Health Centre, Redwater, Alberta.
Bradley was born on December 28th, 1962 in Thunder Bay, Ontario to Donald and Auriel Pahl. He married his wife Janelle in 2016 in Westlock, Alberta.
He was in the trucking industry most of his working life until 2021, when he made a bold and scary decision to start his own business. He called it Noodlepig Mini Donuts (named after his beloved dog Noodles who unexpectedly passed in October 2020). Brad spent 3 wonderful, hard-working summers with Janelle, making mini donuts and attending all the events he could to bring joy to people and make them smile.
Bradley lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; playing with his dog Zoey, his cat’s Winston and Ollie, doing projects around the house and yard, experimenting with his mini donuts, and when he found the time, riding his motorcycle.
Brad will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Janelle; son, Rick (Melissa) Pahl; daughter, Lisa Kocourek; grandchildren, Adrian and Gabriel; sisters, Sheree (Dave) Swistun and Laurie (Tom) Stone; sister-in-law, Karen Robinson; mother-in-law, JoAnne Kerr; sister-in-law, Sandi Dolson; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Brad was predeceased by his parents; brother, Brent; and infant niece, Olivia.
Bradley will truly be missed by all that knew him. He was a loving, amazing man who always had a helping hand to give. His happy, easy-going attitude earned him many friends, and he was fiercely loyal. He didn’t sugar coat the truth and that made him a very genuine person.
In keeping with Brad’s wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes scattered in the summer.
Brad, may you rest in peace in God’s love and care.
