It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Larsen of Breton, Alberta. Stanley passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Bethany Riverview in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 80 years.
Stanley had a deep love for the outdoors, particularly for fishing, hunting, and drag races. Throughout his life, he found solace and joy in nature, whether casting his line in a tranquil lake, tracking game in the wilderness, or revving up his engine on the drag strip. His passion for these activities brought him immense happiness and fulfillment. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and his unwavering love for the great outdoors.
Stanley is survived by his children Rob (Pebbles) and Jodie; grandchildren Sheldon, Curtis, Rachel (Curtis), London, Ashley, Ryan, Alyssa and Brendan; great-grandchildren Addison and Emmalyn, as well as siblings, Connie Tryon and Barb (Ralph) Becker.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ella; sons, Rick and Lorne; parents, Louise and Henry, and brothers, Eddie and Reggie.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Bethany Riverview for their incredible care during Stanley’s time there.
