Obituary of Jeremy Guy Simms

Jeremy Simms, son of Karen Trelawny and Guy Simms, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 37 years.
Jeremy graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Ottawa.
He had a great passion for hockey, basketball, and was an avid weightlifter. He will be remembered for being hardworking and his quick-witted humour.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Karen (Peter) Trelawny and Guy (Tracy) Simms, grandparents, Wallace, and Shirley Gale; siblings, Chad (Brittanie), Richard and Mia Thwaites, Eve, Brianna Trelawny (Holden), Crystal and Joe Simms, and his nephew he so adored, Jackson Simms. Jeremy also survived by his Ottawa family, Anne, Morley, Adam, Carly and Scott Stewart. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jeremy was predeceased by his grandparents, Lewis and Ruby Simms.
A Private Funeral Service will be held through McInnis & Holloway Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Jeremy’s family here.
