Vincent Troy Graham of Brooks, Alberta, beloved father of Tanner Graham, passed away in Cassils, Alberta on September 17, 2023, at the age of 58 years old. Vincent was the son of Vince & Beryl Graham of Brooks, Alberta. He was raised in Brooks and attended school in Grassland School Division. Their family enjoyed gatherings at Lake Newell for camping to which Vincent continued to enjoy and shared camping and also boating with his children on Lake Newell, Kootenay Lake and The Great Lakes.
Vincent discovered his passion for weightlifting at a young age and this led to achieving many first-place medals in Power Lifting both nationally and worldwide. Vince was a champion, becoming an 8-time World Champion in Powerlifting. Vince also holds multiple world records, including the unmeasurable feet of squatting quadruple his body weight within his prime. He competed Internationally; in Canada, South Africa, USA, Finland, and the UK, and was sponsored by family, local businesses, and dear friends. Many of Vince’s closest friends stood beside him in the gym, and on the stage cheering him on and watching him defy all odds.
Vincent worked in the Oil patch most of life. He travelled and lived throughout Canada and USA with special love for Nelson, BC and Detroit, Michigan. He spent majority of his later years showing off his green thumb, traveling through the Kootenays, and spending time with his family.
Vincent had a love for his custom motorcycles, classic cars and the freedom of open road. Vince loved art, and travelling the world, creating an adventure everywhere he went with his vibrant and commanding presence. He also enjoyed downhill skiing, and the thrill of extreme sports. Vince loved attending concerts with his daughters and playing his music for all to hear while BBQing steak for those he cherished. Vincent treasured his visits with his family and friends and all who knew him will always remember his unique laugh and how he and his smile would radiate with love and pride when he looked at those dear. Vince loved his family, grandchildren, and friends unapologetically and completely. He also shared that love for animals and was always rooting for the underdog.
