It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce , who departed from this world on November 30th, 2023. She was 77 years old.
Joyce was born on November 29th, 1946, in Sangudo, AB to Hector & Alice Shaw. From the earliest days of her life, she exhibited an elegant demeanor and generous spirit that would define her journey. She was a beloved Mother, sibling, friend, and grandmother.
She is predeceased by her Father & Mother Hector & Alice, brother Harry and her close friend Ardith.
Joyce is survived by brother Hector Shaw “Chic” (Diane), sister Margaret Dechamps, Daughter Shelly McBride, and grandson John McBride, Son Donald “Steff” Steffanson (Hayley) & grandchildren Amber Steffanson, Adam Steffanson, Caitlin Steffanson, Mathew Steffanson. Daughter Tanya Steffanson & grandchildren Josh Gehring (Chantel), Parker Gehring along with her many nieces and nephews.
The grief of her passing is shared by a wide circle of friends. Throughout her life, Joyce demonstrated the kindness of giving. Joyce touched the lives of many through her kindness, generosity, and infectious laugh. She will be remembered for always showing her best, and the love of her animals.
Joyce’s departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joyce Haub will be announced at a later date.
Friends and family are invited to join in remembering and honouring her memory.
