On April 2, 2023, Brent Delver- Steinhauer of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 29 years. He is survived by his mothers, Miranda McGilvery (Raymond) & Andrea Steinhauer (Dave); son, Stephan Arcand Steinhauer; daughter, Tayanna Cardinal Steinhauer; siblings, Travis McGilvery (Sammi), Kenny “Boss” (Cori) Delver, Tyra Delver (Angelo), Allanis McGilvery, Kelsey Crane-Delver, Delaney McGilvery, Shawn McGilvery, Mathew, Arlea, Alyccia, Melody, Melvin & Brandon; His special friend & mother of his children, Shaylene Arcand; grandmother, Rita Steinhauer; numerous uncles, aunts & cousins from the McGilvery, Delver & Steinhauer families. Brent was predeceased by his daughter, Myra Arcand-Steinhauer; dad, Kenneth Delver; grandparents, Gordon & Elizabeth McGilvery , Herman Steinhauer; paternal grandparents, Alphonse & Clara Delver; great-grandparents, Lloyd & Emma Cardinal, Marie Steinhauer, Moses & Celestine Cardinal; aunts, Charlene Cardinal, Koren Steinhauer & Rhonda Steinhauer; uncles, Gilbert Steinhauer & Robert “Bobbie” Steinhauer. A Wake will be held on Thursday, April 13 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Saddle Lake Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
