Beverley June Emond – Nee Duff
Feb 26 1934 – Aug 27 2023 89 years of age
After too many years of Alzheimers, my incredible, brave, courageous, loving, caring mother has joined my dad, family and friends in Heaven. Mom was born in Vancouver at Grace Hospital. She attended John Oliver high school. Grad of 1951, then worked at New Harold ACCT Stock Exchange Office. Toured Europe for four months in 1954. Began at the Real Estate board as an accountant assistant until 1957. Mom and dad started a family, so she stayed at home until 1965. She became a doctor’s assistant until 1971. Hagens Travel from ’72-’73. She then worked for the Province Paper -Classified from ’73 until she retired in 1991. Mom loved travel and cruises, she was a member of the Silvertones choir, a bowler, swimmer and boater, having completed her power squadron. Bev was predeceased by her husband Ron in 1989, brother Ron in 2011. We are saddened for our mom’s passing, but happy for our incredible time and blessed to call her mom with us forever in our hearts. She was also the best Nana we could ever ask for. Daughter Beverly, so Don (Anita) Grandchildren Matthew (Megan), Brandi (Trevor), Alyssa (Mark), Byron. Great grandchildren Kamryn, Lukas, Raylee, Makenna, Avagayle, Brooklyn and Ladon.
