1942 – 2023
Petawawa, Ontario formerly of Mulgrave, NS
Joining her parents, Clara and Harold Crittenden and brothers Alvin, Ivan, Donald, Russell and sister Bertha in the loving arms of God. Betty will be deeply missed by her children, Rodderick (Kerry) and Myra; grandchildren Sarah, Nicole, Jasmine, Bobby, Austin, and Jacob; and her great-granddaughter Millie. Missing her dearly are her siblings, Velma, Kyran, Charlie, Jean and David, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, Mulgrave, Nova Scotia on September 20th, 2023 at 11 a.m with Rev. Susan Slater officiating.
There will be a luncheon afterwards in the Mulgrave Fire Hall.
Betty grew up in Mulgrave, NS, and lived several places throughout her adult life such as Thompson, MB; Boston, MA; Sydney and Glace Bay, NS, settling down in Hamilton, ON, for most of her adult life. She then moved to Petawawa, ON, to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren and then her final years at Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke ON.
