PURDON, Mary (nee: Cawthorne) – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20th , 2023 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, at 102 years of age. Loving mother of Nancy Cawthorne, Ted (Sharon) Cawthorne and Debbie (Peter) Ciarroni. Cherished grandmother of Cameron (Cindy), Cory (Jodie), Anne (Patrick) and John (Kendra). Loving bonus grandmother to Eric, Miranda and Keifer. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband William (Bill) Cawthorne and second husband Dr. Arnold Purdon.
The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday May 25th, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A private family service will follow, with interment in Fonthill Cemetery.
