Obituary of Bessie Marie Blank
BLANK, BESSIE “MARIE”
The passing of Bessie “Marie” Blank of Fredericton, NB occurred on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 26, 1930 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Pansy Mae (McFadzen) and Thompson Blank. Marie worked as a Private Sitter for Red Cross and was a long time member of Smythe Street Church.
Marie is survived by her brother, John Blank and many cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Wynona Blank and brother, LeRoy Blank.
Visitation will take place on Monday, January 16, 2023 at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside, Drive, Fredericton, NB from 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Smythe Street Church, 913 Smythe Street, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 3 pm with the Pastors of Smythe Street Church officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
