Obituary For Beryl Jones
November 29, 1929 – February 26, 2023
It is with heavy hearts the family of Beryl Jones announce her passing at the age of 93. Beryl was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Beryl was born to a confectionery family in Wallasey, England in 1929. She married Douglas Jones, who was also from Wallasey in 1957. They had a daughter, Christine and the family continued to live there until they immigrated to British Columbia, Canada in 1966.
They settled in Lethbridge, Alberta from 1977 until the passing of Beryl’s husband, Douglas in 2013 when Beryl then moved north to Grande Prairie to be with her daughter Christine and her family.
Beryl was an active member of St. Paul’s United Church UCW where she loved to meet with her church family.
Beryl is survived by her daughter Christine (Rideout (James), grandson Mike Rogers (Jenna), granddaughter Amanda Rogers, great grandchildren Clayton Thomas, Trace Rogers and Willow Rogers. She is also survived by nieces Susan Bishop, Gill Walker and Elizabeth Picknett.
She was predeceased by her father Ronald Millington in 1976, her mother Olive in 1988, and her husband Douglas Jones in 2013.
