Barry passed peacefully at Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, July 22, 2023 after a brave battle with leukemia two days after his 84th birthday with his wife and daughter at his side.
Beloved son of the late Keith and Doris Jacques of Ottawa. Survived by his sister Diane Ramsey of Maine, nephew Jim Ramsey also of Maine. Loving husband of 56 years to Carol (nee McNulty), devoted father to Jeff and Debbie Copeland (Chris) and cherished popop to Avery and Sydney Copeland. Barry was the fun uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and psw’s on the second floor physical rehab unit, and the third floor palliative care unit who took such good care of Barry.
In keeping with Barry’s wishes no funeral service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St. E., Brockville.
