It is with heavy hearts to announce the sudden passing of Barbara Lynn Bondy on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at the age of 60.
She was the daughter of the late Earl & Margaret (nee Davidson) Bondy.
Beloved wife and sidekick of 25 years to Sherry Venclik.
Forever missed by her siblings, Judy Serruys (Chris), Mariann Gilbert (Jeff), Lisa Wright (Doug) and Hector Bondy (Christie).
Remembered always by Sherry’s family; Nellie Venclik (nee VandeHogen) & the late Joseph Venclik, Sandra Tunstall (the late Murray), & Laurie Venclik.
Dear aunt of Matt (Lisa), the late Joel, Jessica (Adam), JC (Sarah), Trevor (Rebekah), Jenna (Brett), Shawn (Tasha), Robbie (Carli), Carter, Connor, Brenden (Aly), Abby, Kylie, DJ (Carly), & Madison (Isaac).
Missed by many great-nieces, great-nephews & extended family.
Barb was a long-time employee with Pioneer Seeds and was know as the “Pioneer Mom”, taking others under her guidance. She was active with the Big Brothers Big Sisters and she was always willing to say she would try any craft. Barb loved life. She was energetic, positive and the life of the party. Her kind and gentle spirit will forever be missed by all who knew her.
As per Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Barb’s life will be held on September 9th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Moose Lodge, 850 Richmond St, Chatham.
In memory of Barb, donations may be made to the JumpStart or to the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario.
