Barbara
Ann (Kennedy) Jackson, RN – 74, of Sheffield Mills, Kings County
passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in
the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on December 31, 1947, in
Blind River, Ontario, she was the adopted daughter of the late Joseph
and Clementine (Burns) Kennedy. Prior to her retirement, Barb worked
for the local VON before heading north as a relief nurse in Health
Centers throughout Nunavut and NWT. Barb is survived by her husband,
Eric and sons, Chris (Shanna) and Nick. Cremation has taken place. In
keeping with Barb’s wishes there will be no visitation or
funeral service. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society, SPCA or a charity of choice. Arrangements have been
entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
