Peacefully at his residence on Friday January 6th, 2023. Arnold Tedford age 85 years, of RR1 Delta. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Woods). Dear father of Judy MacMillan (Jim) of Charleston and Tanya Tedford of RR1 Delta. Loving grandfather of Jade Gibson (Robbie) of Charleston and Joshua MacMillan (Taylor) of Whitehorse, Yukon. Special great-grandfather of Aiden & Brynnleigh Gibson and Oakleigh & Easton MacMillan. Also survived by a brother William Covey of Toronto, brothers-in-law, Bob Connor of Kingston, Wayne Woods of Delta and sister-in-law Audrey Whitmore of Athens. Predeceased by a sister Pauline Connor and his parents, George Tedford and the former Mabel Covey.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home, Athens on Sunday January 8th, 2023 from 12 – 2 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Glen Elbe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maple View Lodge or The Alzheimer’s Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
