With sadness, we announce the passing of Anne Brigid D’Orazio (née Quilty). Anne was born in Collingwood Ontario on October 12th, 1927 to Jack Quilty and Grace Quilty, (née Hanley). She was the last surviving sibling of Margaret McInnis (Jerry), John Quilty (Sybil), Paul (Mary Jo), and Mary Arbour, (Cecil). She will be missed by her daughter, Marisa Russell and her granddaughters, Madelaine and Maggie Russell. Anne is survived by her nieces and nephews, Michael McInnis, Kevin McInnis, Paul McInnis, Steven McInnis, John Quilty, Mary Pat Carr, Peter Quilty, Michael Quilty, Maureen O’Leary, and Fred Arbour.
As per Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Funeral Mass will occur in the future. Interment to take place at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, 208 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie. Arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Online condolences and memories may be left at www.steckleygooderham.com
Anne was a strong, independent personality who was proud to live life on her terms. May she rest in peace with the love of our Lord, her parents, and her brothers and sisters.
