Anna Mae passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Chesley, on Sunday January 1, 2023. Born on August 24, 1934 in Listowel. Anna Mae Illman (née Holman) of Williamsford, was in her 89th year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Kenneth Illman for 64 years. Loving mother of the late Deborah Hunyady (John) of Kitchener, Terri Schell of Alberta, Robert (Beverly) of Williamsford, Walter (Anne) of Chatsworth, Reginald (Barbara) of Portugal, Wayne (Rose) of Williamsford, and Steven (Karin) of Owen Sound. Anna Mae will be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Norma Berlett (late Jack) of Listowel and Linda Warren (late Jim) of Nova Scotia. Anna Mae will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Elizabeth Holman, her sisters Helen Whitfield (Bill) and Marge Mackey (Del).
Anna Mae loved her horses and being outdoors, especially fishing on the French River.
A Visitation for Anna Mae will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, on January 9, 2023, from 11am to 1p.m., with Funeral Service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Condolences can be sent to Anna Mae’s family by visiting her memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca.
