With fond memories and
heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anna Haché, 86, of
Moncton, on Monday August 14, 2023 at home with her family by her
side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Zephyr
(Breezy) and Albertine (Bert) Girouard (Arseneault).
She is survived by her
husband of 65 years, Roland; four children: Jo-Anne Hache (Leo Sheehy)
of Flowers Cove; Denise Shannon (Mark) of Calabogie, ON, Donald
Haché (Marsha) and Gisèle Buchanan (Charles),
both of Moncton; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one
brother, Robert “Bob” Girouard of Moncton; as well as many
brothers/sisters in-law, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her
parents, she was predeceased by her four siblings: Paul, Doris, Joe,
and Clarence.
Anna volunteered
extensively with her church and community and was a past president of
the Club d’Âge d’Or
Christ-Roi.
The family will receive
condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church
Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Thursday August 17 from 7 to 9 pm
only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church,
300 Dominion Street, Moncton, on Friday August 18 at 11 am. Reception
to follow at Club d’Âge d’Or
Christ-Roi. Interment
will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Anna,
a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be
appreciated.
