It is with sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Alan surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 72 years.
Beloved husband of Joan Brousseau (nee Momy) married 52 years. Loving father of Darcy Brousseau (Nina) and Tracy Lee (John).
Cherished grandfather of Courtney Maraccini-Brousseau, Donny McKinnon, Corbin Maraccini and Cameron Lee.
Dear brother of Yoli Picard (late Roger), Gerry Brousseau (Linda), Gail Chartrand (Mike), Rene Brousseau (Sheryna) and Roy Brousseau (Suzanne), and brother-in-law to Sylvia Brousseau.
Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Ida, his brother Terry, his sisters Sandra and Patricia, and his brothers-in-law Fern Landry and Donald Farrow.
Alan was a great husband and grandfather. He was a selfless man and had a great sense of humour. He really enjoyed the outdoors, particularly camping and fishing.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital, Dr. Lesley Griffiths, Dr. Miron and the nurses for their professional care. We would also like to thank our family and friends for their ongoing support.
Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
