Al was a member of Army and Navy Unit 261. In younger years he enjoyed raising and training beagles which he ran in Field Trials. Later came racing pigeons. He enjoyed playing golf at the Muni. He had great fun playing pool, from his misspent youth at Robb’s Pool Hall, to the Dominion House, Army and Navy and finally Romeo Court. He became fairly proficient, it seems.
Thank you to Dr. Glass, Dr. Thomas and to the nurses at Care Partners for your visits and support. It was invaluable.
Cremation has taken place. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
If you wish, donations in Al’s name can be made to the Stratford Perth Humane Society or a charity of your choice through W.G. Young Funeral Home website. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
