Albert James Overton Emmons
Peacefully at the Bayshore (The Windsor) in Amherstview on Saturday March 18 Albert Emmons in his 96 th year. Beloved husband of the late Elsa (Murton) Emmons. Dear father of Doug Emmons (Barbara Shaw), Bev Smith (Terry) and Wanda Seward (Darwin). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Christopher Smith, Sarah and Paul Amo, Adam and Brittany Smith, Melanie and Trevor Sharpe, Jennifer Seward, Jessica (Jones) Seward. Predeceased by his youngest grandson Steven Seward and his brothers Harold and Gerald Emmons and his parents Stanley and Nellie (Brown) Emmons. Albert is survived by 11 great grandchildren and sister in laws Fern Emmons, Margaret Emmons and Marilyn Murton. Predeceased by brother and sister in laws Bessie and Clifford Gorr, Marjorie and Wilbur McColl, Elfleda and Homer Watson, and Ronald Murton. Albert leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lions Hall in Elgin at a later date. A special thanks to all the nurses and staff at the Bayshore (The Windsor) who took wonderful care of our Dad!
