Adalgisa Le Donne
Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday March 4, 2023 at the age of 73. Devoted wife of Giuseppe “Pino” of 51 wonderful years. Proud mother of the late Immacolata (Antony) and Vince. Cherished Nonna of Isabella, Alessio and Stefania. She will be sadly missed by her brother Ennio (Maria) and her late brother Franco and her many family and friends. Adalgisa has been reunited with her beautiful daughter Immacolata.
Pino and Ada loved to spend time at the cottage in Sauble Beach with her family and friends. Adalgisa could be found walking barefoot on the beach or dipping her feet in the warm water of Lake Huron.
At home she enjoyed spending time tending to her flower beds and the vegetable garden. Playing cards was a favorite past time for Ada.
Her positive outlook on life has always been an inspiration to her family and friends.
“Forever loved, always remembered.”
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A mass will be held on Friday March 10, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
