Passed peacefully away at the Dr.G.B.Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on January 05, 2023, Absalom Samuel Langer, age 85 from Petley.
Predeceased by his parents, George and Beatrice Langer, wife Myrtle; infant daughter, Roxanne; siblings, William (Leona), Abner, Sarah (Silas Ivany) and John.
Leaving to mourn are his children, Wanda (Lorne) and Robert (Karen), grand children and great grandchildren, niece, Effie (Vince Bryant- deceased) and other family and friends.
Resting at Vardy’s Funeral Home, Hickman’s Harbour on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1 pm for immediate family.
Public visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 pm
Cremation will follow and the funeral service will take place from the United Church, Britannia on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2 pm with inurnment following at the United Church Cemetery, Britannia.
