Brenda Louisa Baxter, age 47 years passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 28, 2024. Brenda was born on August 10, 1977 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Brenda loved to dance and loved to sing. Get-togethers with family and friends brought her much joy. Brenda was apart of many community events, she loved to fish and camp. Brenda loved people in general, joking and making people laugh was important to her. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Waylon Achneepineskum, her children Waylon Jr. Achneepineskum, Angel Achneepineskum, Bain Achneepineskum, Carson Achneepineskum, Skarlett Achneepineskum, Charlee Achneepineskum, Emmett Achneepineskum, Merle Achneepineskum, Brendan Achneepineskum, Kaizer Achneepineskum, and Brody Achneepineskum, her parents Gordon Jacob Baxter and Maria Agatha Baxter. her siblings Karen Achneepineskum, Yvonne Baxter, John Baxter,Patrick Baxter, Glen Baxter and Robyn Wenjack, her grandmother Christine Achneepineskum as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins survive. Breneda was predeceased by her son Joseph Achneepineskum, by her grandparents John and Antionette Baxter and her grandfather Edwin Achneepineskum. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in the chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home. Brenda will continue her journey to Marten Falls First Nation where she will be laid to rest.
